Our clubs operate 24hrs a day, 7 days a week. All positions are full time consisting of a work pattern of 4x12hr shifts per week. Shifts are either daytime or overnight and start around 8am or 8pm. Rota’s vary between clubs but are designed to ensure there is a fair mix of daytime / nighttime and weekday / weekend working. The role involves lone working so you must be confident in your ability and able to use your own initiative.
We have 3 main job roles within the clubs:
The Shift Manager is responsible for the club during their shift including serving customers, operating the till and membership computer systems, control of the cash float, maintaining standards of cleanliness within the clubs and completion of daily paperwork. You will need to live in close proximity to the club.
Designate Manager is a bridging position between shift manager and general manager. They will carry out the role of Shift Manager in addition to supporting the GM in maintaining standards, controlling stock and other special projects. You will have to be flexible with regards to location to complete your training and take up a GM position when one becomes available.
General Managers are responsible for all facets of the day to day running of the club. They will be required to be available at all times for emergencies, will work 2 shifts on their own with the remainder of their time used in providing additional support for staff as and when the trade demands it. You will be responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness and customer service, fully responsible for the control of cash and stock at the club, managing the shift managers and their rota's and the marketing and promotion of the club to achieve set financial targets.
